Workshops & Webinars

Practical training for nonprofit leaders, managers, and teams

I deliver leadership and management training to nonprofit organizations across North America — in-person and online. My workshops, webinars, and keynotes are built around one question: what will participants do differently on Monday morning? Below are the training topics I currently offer. I also create custom programs tailored to your team's specific needs. This is a Paragraph Font

What to Expect

Every organization is different, and every training engagement is shaped around what your team actually needs.

Here's what's consistent across every workshop, webinar, and keynote I deliver.

Practical, Not Theoretical

Participants leave with tools, frameworks, and language they can use the next day, not just concepts to think about. Every session is built around the question: what will participants do differently on Monday morning? I draw on twenty-five years of experience leading nonprofit teams to ground every framework in real situations participants recognize.

Tailored to

Your Team

Before any engagement, I'll work with you to understand your team's context, where they are in their development, the specific challenges they're navigating, and the outcomes you want from the training. Workshop content, examples, and exercises are adjusted accordingly. For organizations booking multiple sessions, I'll help design a sequence that builds on itself.

Engaging and Interactive

These are working sessions, not lectures. Participants discuss, practice, problem-solve, and apply what they're learning in real time. The result is training that participants stay engaged with and actually remember.

Format Options

I deliver training in whatever format fits your team's needs and schedule:

  • 60–90 minute workshops and webinars: ideal for focused skill-building on a specific topic

  • Half-day seminars: deeper exploration with more time for practice and discussion

  • Full-day seminars: comprehensive training on complex topics, or multiple connected topics in one day

  • Keynote addresses: for conferences, all-staff meetings, and board retreats

  • Custom training programs: multi-session series designed around your team's specific development goals

Delivered Where You Need It

Workshops and seminars are available in-person across North America and online via Zoom or your preferred platform. Online sessions are designed for engagement — not just a slide deck on a screen — using breakout rooms, polls, and structured discussion to keep remote participants active throughout.

What Comes After

Every training engagement includes follow-up resources for participants — handouts, frameworks, and recommended reading — so the learning continues after the session ends. For longer engagements, I'm available for follow-up consultation to support implementation.
